You have taken the first step.

Taking the time to search for a therapist is a big step. It can be daunting. We provide support in a non-judgemental safe and confidential space. The ability to talk to a counsellor that you trust in such an environment is a big part of the healing process. Counselling can help deal with a wide variety of issues, so if there is something that is bothering you, then please do contact us and we can discuss this further. We offer sessions either face-to-face, via telephone and online via zoom.

What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy, which provides a safe confidential space for you to discuss and explore any difficult feelings, emotions and experiences. Your mental health is equally as important as your physical health.

There are various styles of counselling. The way that introspection works is that we are an integrative humanistic counselling solution. In essence what that means is that we listen without judgement to the issues that you wish to bring to our sessions. You decide what to bring -  the areas of your life that you wish to gain a better understanding of, to allow you to move forward.

As integrative counsellors, we use three different theories - known as modalities: Person-centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. We will tailor our approach to your needs with a blended way of working which bests suits you as a client. After all, as individuals, one size does not fit all, so our style of counselling is bespoke to you. The styles will be explained further in our initial session.

In our sessions we celebrate the wins along with exploring the challenges you are facing.

Counselling is usually weekly and can either be a short series of sessions (usually no less than six) or open ended.

What is NLP?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), looks at the thoughts, language and patterns of behaviour within individuals. This is individual to each human and it is about addressing those behaviours, that no longer serve you and using various strategies and techniques to help instil new ways of being.
